California

California has the largest population of any state in the US with over 39 million people. (For reference, there are more people living in California than in all of Canada!) It’s no wonder that there is so much going on in California that it was difficult to pick and choose what to feature in our design.

From Hollywood, where movie magic has been made for over a century, to Death Valley, the lowest and hottest point in North America, California is made up of many contrasts. The state is perhaps best known for its 840 miles of coastline where surfers search for the perfect wave, but we also love California for its snowy Sierra Nevada mountains in the winter where we ski and snowboard.  

Northern California is best known for San Francisco, with the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, historic cable cars, and a vibrant cultural scene. Just south of San Francisco lies Silicon Valley, the biggest tech hub in the world. In Northern California you can also find Napa and Sonoma Valleys that produce world-class wine.
