Collection: Cape Cod
Cape Cod is a curved peninsula that extends like a flexed arm into the Atlantic Ocean from southeastern Massachusetts. This hook-shaped landmass was formed by glaciers thousands of years ago, and it holds deep historical significance as the first landing place of the Mayflower in 1620.
Today, “the Cape” as locals call it, is a beloved vacation destination thanks to its 560 miles of pristine coastline. It boosts a vibrant fishing industry, depicted in our design; fresh lobster and clams are staples of its local cuisine.
Marine life is abundant in Cape Cod Bay and its surrounding waters, where whales can frequently be spotted on popular whale-watching excursions (and in our design). In recent years, the Cape has also become known for its growing great white shark population, drawn by large seal colonies.
The Cape is also part of Massachusetts’ cranberry country, with numerous bogs producing the tart berries each fall.
