The state of Illinois has both midwestern charm and world-class urban culture.

Chicago is the third-largest city in the US and has given the world several iconic contributions to American culture, including deep dish pizza (shown in our design), pioneered by Pizzeria Uno in 1943. The city also has a legendary sports culture, from the historic Wrigley Field, home to the Cubs since 1916, to the Chicago Bulls’ dynasty of the 1990s led by Michael Jordan. 

Known as the “Prairie State,” Illinois is consistently one of the nation's top corn producers, with over 11 million acres of land dedicated to corn production.
