Collection: Michigan
Michigan is the only state in the US to be surrounded by four of the five Great Lakes (Lake Superior, Lake Huron, Lake Erie, and Lake Michigan), giving it an impressive 3,288 miles of freshwater coastline. Michigan has more than 11,000 inland lakes, and no point in the state is more than six miles from a natural water source.
Known as the birthplace of the automotive industry, Michigan revolutionized manufacturing with Henry Ford's assembly line in 1913. It’s no wonder Detroit earned its nickname as the “Motor City.”
The state is an agricultural powerhouse, leading the nation in tart cherry production, producing 75% of the country’s crop. Michigan is also home to diverse wildlife, with over 10,000 black bears roaming its forests (shown in our design) and a growing population of grey wolves.
