Vermont

With the second smallest population of all US states (only after Wyoming), Vermont is a tiny state, but has a lot of personality.

Vermont’s name comes from “les monts verts”, French for Green Mountains. Vermont is home to 67 mountains, which is a lot of what makes the state so scenic and memorable.

Today, forests cover about 70% of Vermont, and the state is home to 1,400 miles of mountain biking trails, countless hiking trails, 55 state parks, 24 state historic sites, and 20 downhill ski areas. All of the outdoor activities are what our team loves most about Vermont.

Vermont is also the #1 producer of maple syrup in the US and is brimming with hundreds of dairy farms, shown in our Vermont design. 


Vermont was also the first state to pass marriage equality laws for same-sex couples through the legislature in 2000, and we love how differences and freedom of expression is celebrated throughout this stunning state.
